Lessy
L’Paradis has been around for years so when they announced their closure last year, we thought Hong Kong was losing another of its dwindling lesbian bars.
This speakeasy-style bar is the best place to score some of the most IG-worthy cocktails in the city. Located between Repulse Bay and South Bay, and with no direct transportation stopping right at the beach, this is a secluded, tranquil spot that’s a world away from the touristy Repulse Bay. There are technically two beaches within Middle Bay; the smaller one that sits north of the main beach is more quiet, very queer, and unofficially okay with nude sunbathers.

Okay, so Vibranium is actually more for locals than foreigners, but hey – I didn’t say you wouldn’t have a great time here!
One of the longest-standing lesbian bars in Hong Kong is Virus, a lesbian bar and restaurant which was established in 1997. But while it can feel packed, it’s not too noisy and you can definitely still carry out a conversation amidst the sounds.
9. There’s a nice mix of other tunes too – mostly K-Pop – but you’ll also hear a few canto pop and J-Pop hits.
As for the drinks, they don’t require a cover charge or have minimum consumption rules.
Like the previous one, the place is more sophisticated, making it a nicer place for a chat than your typical party.
The prices of the cocktails are good, usually ranging from $80 to $120 only. But if you want to save a bit more, you can score some drinks at $40 to $50 during their happy hour before 7:30 PM.
Like most bars, it tends to get busy later in the evening.
Being tucked away gives Time a sense of privacy and intimacy. People simply enjoy a drink, chat, or have a small dance party to themselves.
Drinks are cheap at only around $90 per option. The vibe is fun and festive with overhanging branches, beautiful flowers, and of course, a disco ball! Known for its affordable cocktails, the bar happily doesn’t enforce a cover charge or minimum consumption – temper expectations about the quality of the tipples, but at least they’re cheap so you can drink to your heart’s content.
