Twin Palms Resort – This paradisiacal, upscale gay men’s resort offers the perfect retreat by blending indoor and outdoor living. It’s slightly more upscale than some of the others on this list but still carries a pretty laid-back vibe. Start with delicious burgers and drink specials, then stay for dancing, DJs and go-go boys later at night when it becomes a small nightclub.

From vista points like their revitalizing rooftop deck or the two-story cinematic window in the lobby, the views are stunning and unsurpassed. “Karaoke cabaret” holds down Thursday and Sunday, while Wednesday is “cowboy country.”

Quadz has mixed reviews, with some gushing over the place and others hating on it. Located near the Palm Springs International Airport, the museum offers immersive exhibits, interactive displays, and flight simulators.

The area is perfect for strolling, with iconic architecture and beautifully curated storefronts reflecting Palm Springs' retro-modern aesthetic

Camelot Theatre – Also known as the PS Cultural Centre, is a historic venue established in 1967, it has evolved into a cultural hub hosting a variety of events, including film festivals, live performances, and art exhibitions.

The Monkey Tree Hotel

Everything you imagined Palm Springs would be… The Monkey Tree Hotel is all about that 1960’s style California chill – but with 21st Century conveniences.

Offering luxury without pretension, this funky private 16-room boutique hotel is nestled against the backdrop of the magnificent San Jacinto mountains on a large one-acre property.

Hosted by local drag icon Bella da Ball, this event combines the excitement of bingo with the challenge of trivia, all set in the Amigo Room's welcoming environment. What more do you want from a clothing optional resort? As well as a saltwater pool, there’s a steam room, Jacuzzi, and cruisy sauna, so you really do feel like you’re in paradise. The rooms surround the pool for an intimate layout.

One of the things we love is how all the rooms are named after gay icons like Lucille Ball and Judy Garland, complete with paintings.

Stretching along North Palm Canyon Drive, it’s a haven for design lovers, offering a mix of upscale boutiques, art galleries, vintage furniture stores, and chic home decor shops.

They had dancers (both twinks and bears), and a large side room they opened up for dancing.
